Privacy Policy

Pin Seeker helps you find golf tee times from a plain-English request. This policy describes what we receive when you use pinseeker.xyz, the iOS / iMessage apps, or a connected agent (including Muse).

What we receive

• Search requests. The text you type or speak (city, ZIP, course name, date, time window, players, holes, price) and your timezone. If you search “near me,” the app may also send approximate coordinates from the device.
• Account details. If you sign in with Google, we store the name and email Google shares so we can keep you signed in.
• Product analytics. The website uses PostHog to record page views and how search is used, so we can fix bugs and improve ranking.
• Technical logs. Standard server logs (time, IP, user agent) needed to run and secure the service.

What we do not collect

• GolfNow or course-site usernames and passwords
• Payment card numbers or bank details — checkout happens on the course or GolfNow site after you open a booking link
• Contacts, photos, microphone audio, or health data

How we use it

We use search details only to find matching tee times and return booking links. We use account details to keep you signed in. We use analytics and logs to operate, debug, and improve Pin Seeker. We do not sell personal information.

Who else is involved

• Tee time providers (such as GolfNow or a course tee sheet) receive the location and schedule needed to look up inventory. Opening a booking link takes you to their site and their privacy policy.
• Google if you use Google sign-in.
• PostHog for website analytics.
• Hosting providers that run pinseeker.xyz.

If you connect Pin Seeker through Muse or another agent, that agent sends us the search you asked for. We do not see the rest of your Muse conversation unless it is included in that search.

How long we keep it

Search and server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate the product and investigate issues. Account records last until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You can search without creating an account. You can deny location permission; include a city, ZIP, or course name instead. To delete an account or ask a privacy question, message @getPinSeeker or reach Rahul on LinkedIn.

Children

Pin Seeker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page. Use of Pin Seeker is also covered by the terms of service.
